Stevenson Massage opened in Leith, Edinburgh in January 2019 and is rapidly growing in popularity due to specialising purely in health-benefiting massages such as Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage & Maintenance Massage.
We are highly passionate about the health benefits of regular massage, and we have seen incredible results with how massage can help pain, injuries and muscle tightness, as well as being used as an effective tool for prevention and as part of our body maintenance.

Jack Stevenson
Massage Therapist, Sports Therapist & Clinic Owner
Jack has been a fully qualified Massage Therapist & Sports Therapist since graduating from Coventry University in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy, and has amassed over 10 years of experience working in various professional private healthcare practices and clinics.
He relocated to Edinburgh in September 2017, having lived in Leicester for his whole life. From January 2019, Jack opened his own first clinic, Stevenson Massage, at Bonnington Bond in Leith, Edinburgh.
Jack is experienced at working with runners of all abilities, although additionally is a firm believer that the benefits of Sports Massage aren’t just for “sporty people”. Jack has worked closely with large corporate businesses in the past providing Sports Massage for employees as a prevention and a cure for work-related injuries.

Alessia Berardinelli
Massage Therapist
Alessia is an experienced Massage Therapist, who has qualifications in Remedial, Sports and Swedish Massage at the Advanced Massage Techniques School in West Linton, Scottish Borders.
After 4 years of hands-on experience as a Massage Therapist in one of the top spas in the UK, she continued to build on her knowledge by attending courses in Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stones Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Indian Head Massage. Recently, Alessia completed her qualification in Reflexology, too.
Hoping to progress her studies further, Alessia’s next professional goal is to be qualified in Advanced Sports Massage Therapy, as her interest is now more in providing good quality, health-benefitting massages in a clinical environment.
Alessia loves all things health and wellbeing related, and this comes from a particular passion with weight lifting. Her journey with weights started 6 years ago, and she is now a true believer that resistance training alongside massage therapy is a real game-changer for living a healthy and pain-free life.
Outside of the clinic, Alessia loves to spend her free time outdoors, hiking and exploring beautiful new parts of Scotland.

Douglas Ross
Massage Therapist
Douglas is a qualified Massage Therapist who includes both Western and Eastern approaches to treat the body and mind. Currently studying Advanced Sports and Remedial Massage, he strives to offer the highest quality service on the couch and as after care.
His massage journey began while travelling and living in India, Thailand and Australia from 2016 where he regularly received deep, therapeutic massage. He then went on to learn and practice Thai and Ayurvedic Yoga Massage. Experiencing immediate and lasting positive impacts, Douglas is passionate about sharing the benefits of massage and ease in the body.
Returning to his Scottish roots, he continued to train in Edinburgh where he completed a Diploma in Holistic Massage Therapy which included Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. He has since qualified in Sports and Remedial Massage and enjoys working at sporting events.
A nature & outdoor enthusiast at heart, that’s where you’ll find him in his spare time – walking, cycling or surfing. His supportive, complementary practices are regular yoga, swimming and sauna.

Simon Duffin
Massage Therapist
Simon first qualified in Holistic Swedish Massage in 1999, but when he moved to Australia in 2014 he decided to re-train as a Remedial Massage Therapist, obtaining his diploma in 2017. He remains passionate about the benefits of massage in pain relief, improving mobility and general well-being.
He has worked with all sorts of people over the years, from body builders and arm wrestlers to runners and dancers. But his deepest satisfaction comes from helping people with headaches and migraines, just because of the impact these can have on daily life, and the benefits an individualised massage can give.
Simon also has a diploma in reflexology and certificates from courses on Indian Head Massage and Oncology Massage.
In his spare time, you’ll find Simon pushing for a PB at Cramond Park Run, catching a movie at the Cameo Picturehouse, or touring the country for his various writing projects.

Ari Liakeas
Massage Therapist
Ari has been working professionally as a bodywork and massage therapist since 2016, applying her skills in various settings including clinics, spas, athletic events, charitable organisations, and corporate environments. Her diverse experiences have equipped her with a broad range of skills and expertise in the field of bodywork, yoga and movement.
In 2019, her work expanded to a global level, and has travelled worldwide providing massage and yoga at retreat centres and wellbeing companies. Ari aims to facilitate and support healing for her clients on their journey to optimum health and well-being.
Ari’s commitment to her craft is evident in her dedication to ongoing learning and skill development. She continues to update her skills and knowledge in the industry, and has studied massage therapy and yoga all over the world, ensuring that she can offer the best possible services to her clients. Her passion lies in being of service to people as they work towards achieving their goals of health and well-being.
